The world renown St. Clement Fish Fry is back this year for the Fridays of Lent (Good Friday excluded). The St. Clement Athletic Association organizes this to bring the Parish together for great food and great company. You all know that much because you have been kind enough to support the cause by bringing your families to dine with us, or carrying out. Thank you very much for your support!
The funds raised over the six weeks help support St. Clement Athletics with the purchase of equipment, uniforms, field maintenance, field leases, and Parish Center upkeep. St. Clement Organizations also benefit by dessert and 50/50 sales.
Our outreach now is for volunteers to help with the preparation and serving of the meals. Each of the six Fridays a group of volunteers donate their time to prep the food and serve for a few hours. Imagine running a restaurant each Friday for six weeks……
We’re not looking for a six-week commitment. Simply one of the six Fridays with a time commitment of 3-4 hours. I promise a rewarding feeling, fantastic time in the kitchen and a free dinner……. And you don’t even have to know how to cook………………
For new parents to the Parish with JK and K children in school, it’s a great time to meet other parents of the Community in a fun atmosphere and feel good about giving back to your Parish.
For those of you with children that have already been through the school and want to stay connected with the Parish Community, it’s a perfect opportunity for you all as well.
In other words, we need new families to join in the fun to keep this great Tradition going.
