Meaningful musical experiences for all today shape the musicians and music appreciators of tomorrow. Students will learn a wide variety of topics, from steady beat and matching pitch to Advent Around the World. As students advance, they will learn about three-part canons and instrument etiquette.
Phys Ed Subject Icon
The mission of PE is to provide an atmosphere in which each person knows that Jesus is part of the class.  Each person should feel comfortable trying to do what he or she is capable of.  Everyone will be expected to participate both in a group setting as well as individually. In PE, we will work on learning and improving our abilities and knowledge. We will go through some traditional sports as well as lesser known activities and work on improving ourselves.  Respect for each other and the teacher will be the highest priority.  Plan on having fun, of course
Performing Arts Subject Icon
The Performing Arts program at St. Clement gives students an opportunity to explore a variety of performance styles, from creative movement and dancing to drama and public speaking. Students learn effective communication and collaboration skills while becoming comfortable and confident performing in front of an audience. Classes allow for both small, in class, performances and larger, more formal, performances throughout the school year.
Spanish Subject Icon
The Spanish program at St. Clement of Rome helps students cultivate a diverse vocabulary in their second language and to use that vocabulary to understand, speak, read and write in Spanish at a novice level.  Our Spanish program prepares students to be good citizens of the world by empowering them to communicate in Spanish and to recognize the complexity and beauty of Spanish-Speaking countries and cultures. The Spanish curriculum begins with exposure through songs, games, and activities. As students advance, the students develop their Spanish vocabulary, learn specific structures, and simple grammar concepts. In middle school, students continue to build their vocabulary and use grammar rules they know to form those words into more complex sentences and structures.

In STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) students explore a wide range of topics. Robotics, coding, building old log cabins, learning about STEM careers, science experiments, studying penguins in the Antarctic, and so many more projects are part of the STEM curriculum. While technology is a part of STEM, so are simpler learning tools, such as games, popsicle sticks and cereal boxes! We explore a wide world of STEM at St Clement!
